Cline SDK Reimagines Agent Architecture with Modular Open Runtime

Cline released the Cline SDK on May 13, 2026. The modular TypeScript stack decouples agent intelligence from the UI and supports agent teams and subagents natively. On Terminal Benchmark 2.0, Cline CLI scored 74.2% with Claude Opus 4.7 and up to 55.1% with Kimi-K2.6 for open-weight models. Internal tests confirm faster task completion and lower token usage.
