Gunnison Copper Corp appointed Craig Hallworth as president and chief executive officer on May 16, 2026. Hallworth joined the company 18 months ago as executive vice president and CFO and eliminated secured debt over the past 12 months. The company is advancing the Johnson Camp Mine restart which achieved production in record time and aims for commercial production next quarter. Gunnison Copper is advancing the flagship Gunnison copper project in Arizona with a 2026 budget of $10 million for resource expansion drilling. The resource increased from 2.7 billion to 3.2 billion pounds of copper metal in 2025.
