SentinelOne released its weekly cybersecurity report titled The Good, the Bad and the Ugly in Cybersecurity – Week 20 on May 15, 2026. The report covers authorities shutting down the Cimetwork marketplace and arresting its lead admin, plus a German national charged with laundering millions in crypto for the Dream Market. Mandiant identified attackers using LLMs to discover and exploit software vulnerabilities, while hackers used a Canvas flaw to deface educational portals and exfiltrate data. The U.S. government demanded testimony from Instructure following a deal with ShinyHunters to stop a data leak.
