Adyen and SAP Launch Unified Payment Solution for Commerce Cloud

Adyen announced a new collaboration with SAP on May 13, 2026, to support the launch of SAP Unified Payment, a native fully embedded payment solution integrated into SAP Commerce Cloud. The solution connects digital storefronts directly to the financial backbone of the enterprise and replaces fragmented payment setups with a single global platform. Roelant Prins, Chief Commercial Officer at Adyen, stated the partnership aims to eliminate operational complexity and automate cross-border payment reconciliation. Balaji Balasubramanian, President and Chief Product Officer for SAP Customer Experience and Consumer Industries, noted the embedded approach enables merchants to simplify payments, accelerate deployment, and improve conversion performance globally. Adyen's AI-driven payment optimization and fraud management capabilities, trained on more than $1 trillion in global transaction data, power the integration.
