Drizzle Team Joins PlanetScale for JavaScript Database Tools Development

PlanetScale announced the Drizzle team joining on March 3 2026 via CEO Sam Lambert post. The Drizzle team will continue building database tools for JavaScript and TypeScript under PlanetScale support. Sam Lambert stated the move allows focus on core project priorities without distraction. PlanetScale now integrates Drizzle ORM capabilities into its MySQL and Postgres offerings.
