OpenBox AI and Mastra announced a partnership on May 4, 2026 to bring one-line runtime governance to every TypeScript agent built on Mastra. The integration wraps the Mastra runtime end-to-end and scores every tool invocation, workflow step, sub-agent call, and inter-agent message against the OWASP AI Vulnerability Scoring System with verdicts returned in under 250 milliseconds at the 95th percentile. OpenBox AI raised a $5 million seed round while Mastra has $35 million total funding including a $22 million Series A led by Spark Capital. Mastra counts Replit, Brex, MongoDB, Workday, and Salesforce among its adopters with more than 2 million downloads per month.
