OpenObserve MCP Server Enables AI Assistants to Query Telemetry Data

OpenObserve introduced its MCP Server for connecting AI assistants to logs, metrics, and traces. The server supports intent-driven telemetry interrogation and follows the Model Context Protocol standard. It integrates with the platform's AI Assistant and AI SRE features for natural language analysis of observability data. The MCP implementation received upgrades in the April 23, 2026 v0.80.0 release to the 2025-11-25 specification.
