S. Somasegar Investor and Mentor to SeekOut Dies at Age 59

S. Somasegar died at age 59 this week. Anoop Gupta co-founder and executive chairman at SeekOut described Somasegar as endlessly curious and a trusted friend beyond his investor role. Somasegar spent 27 years at Microsoft and 11 years at Madrona Venture Group. Tributes came from Steven Sinofsky Brad Anderson Vijaye Raji and Daniel Dines among others. S. Somasegar passed away in May 2026 at age 59.
