Chroma introduces Chroma Cloud with Starter plan at $0/month plus usage, Team plan at $250/month plus usage, and Enterprise custom pricing. The cloud offering shifts Chroma from purely self-hosted to managed service with usage-based pricing after the $25/mo pricing retirement in October 2025. Chroma Cloud provides serverless search database for AI with leading companies such as Factory, Weights & Biases, Propel, and Foam using it in production. New accounts receive $5 in free credits to start with usage-based pricing after that.
