Clay AI startup announced plans on April 6, 2026, to hire 498 new employees and invest $50 million while relocating to 11 Madison Ave in New York City. The new lease covers more than 163,000 square feet at the Madison Avenue location. Clay currently employs 250 people in New York City and reached a $5 billion valuation in the prior year. New York State supports the expansion with performance-based tax credits through the Excelsior Jobs Program.
