NASA Psyche Mission Completes Mars Flyby on Way to Metal-Rich Asteroid

NASA's Psyche Mission completed its Mars flyby and continues toward the metal-rich asteroid Psyche. The mission is led by ASU with JPL handling overall management and system engineering. Intuitive Machines provided the high-power solar electric propulsion spacecraft chassis. The operations of the imager instrument are led by ASU collaborating with Malin Space Science Systems. Psyche is the 14th mission in NASA’s Discovery Program managed by Marshall Space Flight Center.
