Red Hat and AWS discussed Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS at Red Hat Summit 2026 to address virtualization modernization and European data sovereignty. The AWS Marketplace now hosts more than 15,000 listings from more than 3,500 independent software providers with a shift toward AI agents and containers. Red Hat serves as a launch partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, making Red Hat Enterprise Linux and OpenShift available from day one for GDPR compliance. AWS Marketplace listings exceeded 15,000 from over 3,500 providers on May 18, 2026.
