OpenVox Community Releases OpenVox-Server 8.13.0 and OpenVoxDB 8.13.0 in May 2026

Vox Pupuli announced the release of OpenVox-Server 8.13.0 and OpenVoxDB 8.13.0 in early May 2026 as part of ongoing development for the community-driven fork of Puppet. These updates provide new packages and modules compatible with OpenVox, building on prior releases such as OpenVox 8.26.1 from April 2026 that added platform support and rapid bug fixes. The fork originated in December 2024 after Perforce restricted public binaries and packages for open-source Puppet following its 2022 acquisition; OpenVox maintains functional equivalence as a drop-in replacement for users avoiding commercial licensing. Vox Pupuli's PMC elections for 2026 and VoxConf 2026 travel funding initiatives run alongside these technical releases.
