Bolt CEO Ryan Breslow let go of the entire HR team on or before May 19 2026 after they created problems that did not exist. Ryan Breslow stated those problems disappeared when he let them go at Fortune’s Workforce Innovation Summit. The fintech firm also cut roughly 30% of staff earlier this year and nearly all prior leadership after 99% of employees failed a 60-day adaptation period leaving about 100 employees. Bolt was founded in 2014 and reached an $11 billion valuation in 2022 before dropping to roughly $300 million by 2024.
