GoodTime 2026 Hiring Insights Report Shows 90% of Companies Missed 2025 Goals

GoodTime’s 2026 Hiring Insights Report surveyed 504 senior talent acquisition leaders in the U.S. Nine out of 10 companies missed their 2025 hiring goals, with one in three missing by a wide margin. Teams spent 38% of time on interview scheduling, the largest operational burden. Teams using automated or AI-driven scheduling were 1.6 times more likely to achieve near-perfect goal attainment. Becky McCullough, vice president of talent acquisition and mobility at HubSpot, noted that TA teams must confirm identity and authenticity at multiple points in the AI era.
