Akamai Technologies agreed to acquire LayerX Security Ltd. Jefferies LLC acted as financial advisor for LayerX Security Ltd. Akamai Connected Cloud platform includes edge and cloud architecture for security services. Akamai reported Q1 2026 revenue of $1.074 billion, up 5.7 percent year over year, with security revenue up 11.1 percent. Akamai raised its full-year 2026 revenue outlook to a midpoint of $4.50 billion.
