Alior Bank selected Hitachi Vantara and Red Hat OpenShift on May 12, 2026, to modernize its virtualization environment. The bank migrates hundreds of virtual machines from legacy platforms to Red Hat OpenShift on Hitachi Vantara's Virtual Storage Platform One. The new setup consolidates virtual machines and containerized workloads on a unified cloud-native platform with multi-site active-active architecture. Alior Bank anticipates a 60% reduction in virtualization costs and full ROI within two and a half years. The implementation supports critical banking workloads in Warsaw, Poland.
