Former Atlassian engineer Vasilios Syrakis published a 38-minute YouTube video after his March 2026 layoff that details the company's infrastructure stack. The video covers Envoy-based traffic routing replacing enterprise load balancers, sidecar architecture for auth and observability, DynamoDB plus SQS for event-driven provisioning, and Packer plus SaltStack for immutable VM deployments.
