Boomi signed a letter of intent on May 13, 2026 to acquire Lunar.dev, an innovator in AI and MCP gateway technology. The proposed acquisition will enrich the Boomi Enterprise Platform and Boomi Connect with advanced capabilities to govern and scale AI usage across enterprise systems. Boomi CEO Steve Lucas stated the move addresses the shift from AI experimentation to real-world deployment. The deal extends Boomi’s AI gateway capabilities for production-ready AI.
