Six additional companies including Doubleword received access to the UK’s AI Research Resource supercomputers in May 2026. Doubleword is one of six startups granted access under the Sovereign AI Unit's £500 million investment. Each startup receives up to one million GPU hours. The Sovereign AI Unit is chaired by James Wise and has discussed access with around 30 firms.
