Datadog Releases Toto 2.0 Time Series Forecasting Models on May 14

Datadog released the Toto 2.0 family of open-weights time series forecasting models on May 14, 2026 under Apache 2.0 license on Hugging Face. The models range from 4 million to 2.5 billion parameters and were trained on observability and synthetic data. Toto 2.0 achieves state-of-the-art performance on BOOM, GIFT-Eval, and TIME benchmarks with improvements including contiguous patch masking for single-pass 1024-step forecasts. Datadog is hiring for its AI Research team in New York and Paris.
