Airwallex Launches POS Product for Multi-Country In-Person Payments

Airwallex launched a point-of-sale product on April 15, 2026, enabling businesses to accept in-person payments across multiple countries on a single platform. The product unifies in-store and online payments with consolidated reporting and direct back-office integrations, supporting over 90 currencies and connections to local networks in more than 120 countries. Airwallex processes USD 100 billion in annual volume and generates approximately USD 1.3 billion in annualized revenue while growing at 85% per year. CEO Jack Zhang stated that the single-platform approach eliminates the need for onboarding new local acquirers in each market unlike typical multi-market expansions.
