Bridgit Mendler, co-founder and CEO of Northwood Space, closed a $100 million Series B funding round on January 27, 2026. The round was led by Washington Harbour Partners and co-led by Andreessen Horowitz. Northwood builds phased-array ground stations for satellite communications across multiple orbits. The company previously raised $30 million in Series A less than a year earlier and targets deployment of over 82 beams across 18 global ground sites by the end of 2026. Northwood also secured a $49.8 million contract with the U.S. Space Force to upgrade the Satellite Control Network.
