Otto Aerospace Completes Preliminary Design Review for Phantom 3500 Business Jet

Otto Aerospace completed the Preliminary Design Review for its Phantom 3500 clean-sheet business jet program on May 13, 2026. The review assessed configuration, architecture, performance, and design maturity across systems and structures at the company’s future headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida. Otto Aerospace President and CEO Scott Drennan stated the milestone advances the program from conceptual design into detailed design and production planning. Kyle Heironimus, Otto CTO, noted the review reflects more than a year of disciplined work by the Otto team, suppliers, and development partners. Otto plans for Flight Test Vehicle 1 to fly in 2027.
