Braintrust detected unauthorized access on May 4, 2026 to an AWS account holding customer API keys for AI model access. Customers received notification on May 5, 2026 and were instructed to revoke and regenerate any org-level keys stored with the platform. The company contained the incident by locking the account and restricting access across related systems.
