Cisco announced fewer than 4,000 job cuts on May 13, 2026, less than 5 percent of its global workforce of about 86,000. The reductions began this week and continue through Q4 as part of restructuring for AI and network infrastructure. Cisco reported record Q3 FY26 revenue of $15.8 billion, up 12 percent year over year, with double-digit top and bottom-line growth. Chuck Robbins said the company is making strategic investments in silicon, optics, security, and employees’ use of AI.
