Form Energy Powers Up West Virginia With Massive AI Battery Deal

Form Energy established a binding agreement with Crusoe Energy Systems to supply iron-air batteries for AI data centers. Under the deal Crusoe secured reserved capacity for 12 gigawatt-hours of storage starting deliveries in 2027 from the Weirton facility. The agreement includes pricing and delivery terms to support Crusoe's growing digital infrastructure. West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey highlighted the tech jobs created by the project in 2026.
