Langfuse implemented Stripe Billing's usage-based capabilities to handle metered billing for billions of events. The company adopted a hybrid subscription-plus-metered model with tiered monthly plans and graduated per-event charges posted hourly from its ClickHouse data store. Langfuse completed the full billing revamp in one month after an initial two-week hybrid model rollout. Langfuse builds an open-source LLM observability platform that traces, evaluates, and monitors AI applications.
