Linear Adds MCP Support for Agent Tool Connections

Linear updated Linear Agent on April 23, 2026, with MCP support allowing connections to external tools. The feature brings additional data and actions into Linear workflows beyond the workspace. Linear Agent can now investigate issues, plan projects, write specs, and draft updates using full context from connected systems. This builds on the public beta release of Linear Agent from March 24, 2026.
