Cognition closed a $400 million funding round at a $10.2 billion valuation in September 2025. The round was led by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund with participation from Lux Capital, 8VC and Bain Capital Ventures. Cognition acquired Windsurf in July 2025 and CEO Scott Wu stated customers see power from combining Devin and Windsurf. Cognition had reached $10 billion valuation by April 2026 per Wikipedia.
