dLocal reported first-quarter 2026 net profit of $41.9 million, down 10% from $46.6 million in the prior-year quarter. The decline stemmed from a $9.7 million one-time tax adjustment on installment products and a 58% rise in operating expenses to $65.9 million from investments in hiring and expansion started in late 2025. Total payment volume reached $14.1 billion, up 73% year over year, while revenue increased 55% to $335.9 million, surpassing analyst estimates of $333.1 million. Gross profit hit a record $118.7 million, reflecting 40% growth driven by new merchant contracts in Africa and Asia. dLocal maintained its full-year 2026 guidance for 50-60% total payment volume growth and $451.8 million in cash reserves as of March 31, 2026.
