Payoneer and Upwork extended their 15-year partnership on May 15, 2026, with Payoneer as primary global payout infrastructure partner for Upwork freelancers. The deal supports wallet and direct-to-local-bank payouts across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Upwork joins as design partner to launch stablecoin-enabled payouts for faster, lower-cost transfers in emerging markets. Payoneer operates in 190 countries and territories. The collaboration also connects Upwork's talent pool with Payoneer's SMB ecosystem.
