Klarna Partners with Worldline to Expand BNPL Access Online and In-Store

Klarna and Worldline announced a partnership on May 19, 2026 that embeds Klarna’s flexible payment solutions into Worldline’s acquiring services. Worldline integrates Klarna into its technology stack and acquires the transactions for merchants using its e-commerce and POS terminals. The collaboration targets online channels first before adding in-store options throughout Europe. David Sykes, Chief Commercial Officer at Klarna, described the move as connecting more businesses to the Klarna platform. Worldline currently serves as Europe’s largest card acquirer.
