UiPath issued a statement on the passing of Board Member S. “Soma” Somasegar on May 19, 2026. Soma joined the UiPath Board of Directors in September of 2024 and served on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. UiPath described Soma as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and veteran technology executive. UiPath CEO Daniel Dines and the board expressed condolences to Soma’s wife Akila, daughters, and colleagues at Madrona Ventures.
