CVS Moves to Robotics and Reduces Jobs at New Jersey Warehouse

CVS increased robotics use at its Hainesport, New Jersey warehouse on May 17, 2026. The building employs 150 people, about a quarter of the head count a warehouse without automation would need to handle the same volume. CVS revenues are up while the company utilizes robots to decrease staffing. The Wall Street Journal reported the automation shift.
