Cognition in Early Talks for $25 Billion Valuation Funding Round

Bloomberg reported on April 23, 2026 that Cognition AI is in early talks to raise hundreds of millions at a $25 billion valuation. The round would more than double the $10.2 billion valuation from the September 2025 $400 million round led by Founders Fund. Cognition's Devin drove ARR growth from $1 million in September 2024 to $73 million by June 2025. The company acquired Windsurf in July 2025 and integrates its agentic IDE capabilities. Post-acquisition ARR more than doubled according to CNBC reports.
