Hitachi, Ltd. announced a strategic partnership with Anthropic on May 19, 2026 to integrate Claude models into its Lumada 3.0 business model across IT, operational technology, and products. The collaboration focuses on co-creation of physical AI use cases and strengthens Hitachi’s frontier AI capabilities in industrial applications. Hitachi operates 606 consolidated subsidiaries with revenues of 10,586.7 billion yen in fiscal year 2025 ending March 31, 2026.
