AntSeed launched a peer-to-peer rival to OpenRouter on May 15, 2026. OpenRouter charges a 5 to 5.5 percent platform fee on credit purchases plus a 5 percent fee on bring-your-own-key usage. AntSeed adds no platform markup on top of provider pricing and settles all transactions in USDC. Shahaf Antwarg, co-founder of AntSeed, described the new marketplace as permissionless with no central off switch.
