Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission senior director Mohd Hafaz confirmed on May 14 2026 that Rafizi Ramli voluntarily handed over printed documents and video recordings in a USB flash drive. Rafizi arrived at MACC headquarters around 10am with five lawyers and the session including additional statements ended at 1:30pm. The investigation covers alleged abuse of power in the nearly RM1.1 billion government contract for a strategic semiconductor cooperation agreement with Arm Holdings. MACC opened the case February 16 2026 following complaints from three non-governmental organisations and has called 22 witnesses to date.
