Workday completed the acquisition of Flowise on August 14, 2025 to integrate its low-code AI agent builder into the Workday platform. Flowise, founded in 2023 by Henry Heng and Chung Yau Ong with $500K seed funding from Y Combinator, had 5 employees at acquisition. The deal enables Workday customers to build AI agents for HR and finance workflows. Flowise previously raised $500K and reached 42,000 GitHub stars before the merger.
