OpenClaw Ships v2026.5.20 with xAI Device-Code Login, Discord Voice Upgrades, and Policy Controls

OpenClaw released version 2026.5.20 on or around May 21, 2026, adding xAI device-code OAuth login for remote and headless authorization, Discord voice sessions that follow configured users into channels with multi-user handoff and DAVE recovery preservation, and richer realtime voice context defaults including bounded IDENTITY.md, USER.md, and SOUL.md profile files. The release strengthened approval and policy handling via a bundled Policy plugin, improved cron and CLI reliability, added OpenRouter routing controls, and included numerous fixes across agents, providers, apps, and builds such as WhatsApp Baileys update to 7.0.0-rc12 and doctor warnings for plaintext secrets in openclaw.json.
