Matt Keightley unveiled three AI-designed gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show on May 14, 2026, created using the Spacelift subscription-based app trained on his 25 years of design rules for spatial flow, proportion, and harmony. The app allows users to scan outdoor spaces, input preferences and budgets, and receive photorealistic plans with planting lists, material recommendations, and shop-the-look features, targeting the gap for homeowners who spend an average of £3,268 on gardens with trusted plans. Society of Landscape and Garden Designers Chair Andrew Duff stated AI offers tools but cannot replicate professional judgment or technical expertise. Spacelift has a 9,000-person waitlist and plans future features including carbon impact tracking.
