CrewAI Inc raises $18 million in Series A funding led by Insight Partners

João Moura, founder and CEO of CrewAI, announced that the company raised $18 million in total funding. The round included an inception round led by boldstart ventures and a Series A led by Insight Partners, with participation from Blitzscaling Ventures, Craft Ventures, Earl Grey Capital, Andrew Ng, and Dharmesh Shah. CrewAI also launched CrewAI Enterprise to enable large organizations to design, test, and deploy complex AI agents at scale. The company signed its first 150 beta enterprise customers in less than six months. João Moura stated that RPA and LLMs alone cannot deliver full business automation.
