Grafana Labs announced on May 18, 2026 that a threat actor accessed its GitHub environment and downloaded the company’s codebase. The open-source observability firm stated the attackers threatened to leak the code unless a ransom was paid. Grafana Labs said it will not pay the ransom. Grafana Labs said its investigation determined no customer data or personal information was accessed during this incident.
