Less need exists for frameworks to compose deterministic workflows as 95% of LlamaIndex code is AI-generated and engineers type natural language prompts instead of writing real code. Context from accurate file format parsing and OCR for agentic document processing becomes the core differentiator across models like Claude or OpenAI. LlamaIndex began as a toy project with 40% initial accuracy three years ago when advanced retrieval would break agents.
