Poolside Releases Laguna XS.2 Open-Weight Model with 33B Parameters

Poolside released Laguna XS.2 as its first open-weight model alongside Laguna M.1 on April 28, 2026. Laguna XS.2 is a 33B total parameter MoE model with 3B activated parameters trained on 30T tokens including 4.4T synthetic tokens and reaches 68.2% on SWE-bench Verified and 44.5% on SWE-bench Pro. Laguna XS.2 weights are available under Apache 2.0 license on Hugging Face with support for NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM and an NVFP4 version for Blackwell architecture. Both models support agentic coding workflows with 128K context and are free for limited time via Poolside API and OpenRouter.
