Cloudflare Launches Durable Object Facets for Dynamic Workers in Open Beta

Cloudflare introduced Durable Object Facets on April 13, 2026 as an open beta feature for Dynamic Workers on the Workers Paid plan. The feature lets developers load and instantiate Durable Object classes dynamically while assigning each an isolated SQLite database for storage. This enables platforms that run persistent, stateful code generated on-the-fly by AI agents. Durable Object Facets form part of broader Agents Week 2026 updates that also include PlanetScale Postgres and MySQL database deployment via Cloudflare Workers. The update supports building thousands of isolated, stateful applications instantly at the edge.
