Arize AI acquired Velvet Inc. in March 2025 to incorporate advanced LLM observability and evaluation technologies. The acquisition strengthens Arize AI's monitoring solutions for enterprise-scale generative AI systems by adding Velvet's specialized platform. Velvet Inc. focused on LLM observability for model performance and transparency. Arize AI's total funding reached more than $130 million following its $70 million Series C round in February 2025.
