Commvault Announces Leadership Appointments Including New CFO Gary Merrill

Commvault named Gary Merrill Chief Financial Officer and Geoff Haydon President of Customer and Field Operations on April 13, 2026. Gary Merrill brings more than two decades of experience at Commvault including prior service as CFO from 2022 to 2024 and most recently as Chief Commercial Officer. Geoff Haydon previously served as CEO of cybersecurity company Ontinue and held go-to-market roles at VMware and Secureworks while serving on the Commvault board. Both appointments report to President and CEO Sanjay Mirchandani and the company reaffirmed its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2026 guidance issued January 27, 2026.
