Dynatrace signed a definitive agreement to acquire Bindplane on April 8, 2026. Bindplane provides an OpenTelemetry-based telemetry pipeline acting as a control plane for logs metrics traces and events from disparate sources. The acquisition closed later in April 2026 with no material financial impact expected on FY2027 results. Bindplane originated as a Grand Rapids Michigan startup and Dynatrace maintains the platform remains agnostic to support routing to multiple backends.
